F.A.Q. - Frequently Asked Questions!

In the first instance, please consult www.coffsharbour.nsw.gov.au/nrl2009 for Event information. We have provided this FAQ for your quick reference.

Does a child under 5 need a ticket?
Only for grandstand seats. A ticket will not be required for children under 5 on the outer ground.

Can I get a refund?
Only if the event is cancelled.

What is a concession?
Anyone with a student card or pensioner card will be entitled to a concession ticket.

What happens if it rains on game day?
Please check local media for event updates.

Can I take chairs into the General Admission area?
Yes, however chairs with spikes will NOT be allowed onto the main Stadium surface

Is there disabled access at the venue?
Yes.

Can I bring food into the venue?
No commercially prepared food or takeaway food is allowed. Sealed bottles of cordial/water are allowed.
NO soft drinks or alcohol will be permitted.
The venue is happy for families to bring sandwiches and snacks.

Is there a family area?
Yes, this will be a non-smoking and no-alcohol area. Once the venue map is finalised this will be available on the Council's website so you can see exactly where this is.

What happens if I forget, lose or had my tickets stolen?
Please call the TicketDirect call centre on 1300 79 85 50 or go to the box office on the day of the event with valid ID.

What happens if somebody copies my ticket?
Each ticket has a unique bar code which allows only a single entry. If multiple copies are made, only the first person to present the ticket at the Gate will be given entry. If a person claims to be the ticket owner, they will be required to provide identification and the original credit card you used to buy your ticket.

Does the box office provide EFTPOS?
Only for the purchase of tickets – NO CASH OUT at the box office.

Who's playing the preliminary game?
Group 2 senior teams are playing 4 x short 7's style games and then a final. Teams competing are Bellingen, Woolgoolga, Orara Valley and Sawtell.

Where can I park?
Parking is available in the main western car park, on the eastern side of the venue, on the southern side of the venue. Parking will not be permitted along Stadium Drive.

Will food be available?
Yes, hot and cold food as well as drinks will be available at the venue.

What can I bring?
See conditions of entry listed on the ticket.

Will there be any shade?
Some of the grandstand is shaded and some areas around the hills under the hills. Please ensure sunscreen and hats are worn.

Are players going to stay after the game and sign autographs?
Unsure at this stage, although check the Coffs Harbour City Council website for updates

What players will be playing on the day?
Information on teams won't be known until closer to game day.

Will there be NRL merchandise for sale?
Yes.

What is the program for the night?
Gates open 4.00pm.
Prelimiary 7's style matches between group 2 senior teams from 5.00pm.
Main game 7.00pm.

Will public transport be available?
Normal bus services only. No special bus services have been organised. Taxi's can be contacted by calling 131 008.
