In 2010 Brisbane will once again host the final round of the hugely successful Monster Energy Super X, the Australasian Supercross Championship, with the series decider at QSAC to feature a number of the greatest supercross riders from around the world including defending champion Chad Reed.
Last year over 25,000 fans packed the stadium to see who would take out the championship and 2010 is expected to be even bigger.
This year Super X will feature a range of exciting new initiatives. These include:
- Several 2010 top 5 US AMA Supercross riders to be announced shortly, ensuring the greatest ever series line-up outside of the USA
- Australia's greatest ever supercross racer Chad Reed back to defend his title
- Huge full sized US tracks at every round
- Amazing freestyle motocross, Super FMX, confirmed with x games gold medalist Blake Williams confirmed and Cam Sinclair performing the double back flip (Super FMX is at Brisbane)
- Exciting new formats
- The Monster Energy Pantec, direct from the USA
- Extended paddock access and the opportunity to watch qualifying at the track
This plus the dramatic improvement from so many young Aussies like Marmont, Reardon, Byrne, Simmonds and the Moss brothers means 2010 is set to be the biggest year in Australian Supercross history.
