2012 Australian Taekwondo Championships

The 2012 Australian Taekwondo National Championships and Open provides the opportunity for all poomsae and sparring black belts to challenge themselves against some of the best Australian and international athletes. In addition domestic athletes will also be vying to qualify points under the Taekwondo Australia Points System (TAPS) which provides winning competitors with a development pathway to further impove Australia's domestic and international podium results.

This point system allows our top Australian athletes to gain valuable experiences, participation in training camps, funding assistance and the opportunity to compete in both National and International events. Committed and talented Taekwondo athletes are rewarded with the chance to develop their skills, experience and expertise.
